Growing Pains:
Growing Pains was an awesome 80s kids show that had a total of seven seasons. The show featured two brothers and their father, who all lived together in Florida. The father had become a single parent after his wife died during childbirth with the younger son. The two boys were at different stages in their lives, but they were still brothers and they still got along pretty well most of the time. They would often try to give each other advice on life, love and dating, while learning lessons from each other as well. One of the brothers was played by Leonardo DiCaprio before he became famous and went on to star in movies like Titanic and Romeo + Juliet. If you grew up watching this show, then you might be surprised at how much it has changed over the years. This is a great show that you can watch with your kids if you are looking for something to watch.
Punky Brewster:
Punky Brewster was a show that was based on a character from the popular movie, “The Bad News Bears”. The show followed the life of a young girl who had been abandoned by her parents and had to live with her foster parents. She did not get along well with her foster family at first, but she eventually began to open up to them and they became her family. She did not have any friends when she first moved in, but she soon made some after meeting a boy named Peter Cook and his dog Brandon. Her life changed for the better when she met these two new friends and they helped her grow as a person throughout the series.
She would often cause trouble in the neighborhood, which would lead to problems for herself and others around her. Her best friend, Brandon, was actually an abandoned dog that was found by Peter’s father in the woods behind their house. He decided to take him home with him and named him Brandon after his favorite comic book character. When he learned that no one wanted him, he decided to keep him and train him to be a pet. He was a loyal dog that Punky would often call upon when she needed help with something.
Gummie Bears:
Gummie Bears was an 80s kids show that aired on NBC for only one season. It followed the life of an American family that moved to Germany and learned how to adapt to their new culture. The show featured two kids named Billy and Jamie, who were often the focus of the episodes. Billy had become frustrated with his life in America, so he decided to go live with his grandfather in Germany for a while. His sister Jamie was left behind at home and had to adjust to living without her brother for the first time in her life. She was determined not to be sad about it, but she soon learned that it was going to be difficult for her without him around. She tried her best not to miss him too much, but she still wanted him back home again. The show only lasted one season before it was canceled, but there are still some episodes out there if you want to check them out!
The Facts of Life:
The Facts of Life is an 80s kids show that featured two friends who lived together at a boarding school in New York. The two girls had different personalities and were complete opposites of each other. They were always trying to help each other learn new things and grow as people, while they still tried to live a normal life. There were plenty of other characters on the show that played a big role in their lives, including their teachers and parents. The show was based on the same concept as “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, which was also about two girls who lived together and went through school together.
You might remember one of the characters from this show being Kim Fields, who went on to star in the movie “A Different World” after she left this show. She played one of the main characters named Tootie who became a friend to both girls throughout the series. The Muppet Show was an 80s kids show that aired from 1976 until 1981 on NBC. It followed the lives of several puppet characters that lived together in a theater called “The Muppet Theater” where they performed several shows every week for their audience. One of the main characters was Kermit the Frog, who was the host of the show and a puppeteer. He was in charge of managing the theater and putting on shows for his audience. The show often featured guest stars that were invited to perform in their shows and other special events.
